Give me a glowing and clear complexion any day
If you follow me on Instagram you will know I have started a new skincare regime – I always get asked about skincare, as the better your skin looks the better your makeup looks! Beautiful skin is always in.
I have taken my skin for granted for so long and now it’s starting to show! I have a lot of congestion and bumps on the surface of my skin and my foundation just isn’t gliding on as smoothly as it used to.
I went into Academy Face & Body in Subiaco for my consultation. I now have a 5-step Ultraceuticals skincare program and am loving it! I also love the fact that I am supporting an Australian company and they are all about real visible results.
What is Ultraceuticals all about?
Who are Ultraceuticals?
- Australian made and owned
- Their products contain high levels of professional-grade products
- 100% cruelty-free
- Does not contain harsh chemicals, parabens, synthetic dyes or synthetic fragrances
Super easy routine to follow
Ok firstly – they put little stickers on all the bottles with an AM or PM and in which order to use them! This for me is an absolutely lifesaver as I have a memory like a sieve and the last thing I want to do in the morning is to try remember what order my skincare goes on.
My morning routine now includes two serums – one is a liquid exfoliant to help keep my complexion crystal clear and the other serum protects my skin against the environment aggressors.
As well as a sunscreen which I have always worn (I thank my red-headed mum for plastering my brother and I when we were younger) – with the sun triggering 80% of skin aging I never skip sunscreen.
Did I mention their sunscreen does not cause the dreaded flash back that can give you that ghostly white face in some photos? win win!
And my night time routine now is so simple – its a super light weight moisturiser also in the form of a serum, I barley feel it on which is a blessing when you have skin as oily as mine.
Overall
I have found since starting my new products (its been around a month now) my skin has started to clear up and I am not as oily day-to-day. I love the sunscreen and when my tube runs out I will be trialing the matte version to see how that fairs under my foundation on my oily skin.
